Client Engagement Specialist Remote

Responsibilities

As a Client Engagement Specialist, you will have the opportunity to proactively pursue new client relationships and maximize opportunities with new clients. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:

• Provide service and advice to engage new clients and transition them to the appropriate service delivery channel
• Seek out new opportunities to promote MDM and Scotia products and services
• Proactively follow up and nurture prospective business opportunities to convert into new MD Management (MDM) clients
• Utilize data to gain a better understanding of the prospect's engagement level with MDM
• Collaborate with Financial Consultants and specialists to engage prospects in working with MD

Qualifications

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Must be IIROC licensed (RR) through the completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Conduct and Practices Handbook for Securities Industry Professionals (CPH), and 90-day training
• Knowledge or experience in the Wealth Management industry is an asset
• Bilingual (English/French) required
• Post-secondary education in Business or Marketing with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a sales capacity
