Business Enablement Analyst Jobs

Job Summary
The Business Enablement Analyst will play a pivotal role in drawing actionable insights from data. Responsibilities will focus on data architecture, reporting, analytics and process design in collaboration with functional leaders, IT and external vendors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong data background and great communication skills, with the ability to tell and present a story through data.
Specific Responsibilities

• Translate systemic business needs into technical specifications through the development of proof-of-concept models
• Continuously improve data structures and gathering processes, including implementation of data capture processes or data transformation
• Collaborate with functional leaders to surface actionable insights with execution plans
• Support the creation and maintenance of reporting documentation including user guides and training materials to aid in user training and support
• Analyze competitor and customer industries to identify trends
• Build reports/dashboards to address ad hoc business requirements
• Participate in the execution of the user acceptance training (UAT) for each launch
• Deliver user training on reports and dashboards

Qualifications
Job Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in business, computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent working experience
• Experience developing in Tableau
• Previous project management/coordination experience
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast paced environment in an organized and thoughtful manner
• Self Starter: ability to take initiative and work independently to enhance the data maturity of the organization. Must be able to ramp up in working knowledge of underlying data.
• Working knowledge of SQL, R and/or Python
• 3+ years experience in an analyst (or related) role
• Strong analytical skills: ability to conduct in-depth (using a variety of sources) and distill information in in a succinct manner so it can be understood by others
• Must be an advanced user of Excel
• Solid understanding of IT systems, tools, data structures and database architecture

Location - this is a hybrid role which would report to our head-office in Cambridge, On.
