Support and evolve the Advanced Analytics and Data Management capabilities towards empowering citizen data scientists in the business

Experience with modeling and analysis including machine learning, statistical analysis, operations research, management science and data mining

3+ years of professional experience in analytics environment with proven value creation outcomes

3-5 years of professional experience with SQL, Python, PySpark

Experience with framework such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, MxNet and the sci-kit learn library is a plus

Hands-on experience in one or more of the following: C#, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure Templates

5 years of relevant work experience in business analytics, reporting, data management, or other related experience in reporting and analytics.

Performing trend and predictive analysis to support decision making capabilities.

Lead and participate in stakeholder conversations to understand requirements and present built solutions to team.

Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Experience working with data visualization tools, primarily Microsoft Power BI, to build interactive reports and complex dashboards for different target audiences.

Relevant experience with DAX, M, SQL, Power BI

Exposure to the latest technologies for exploration, production and reservoir management in a workplace dedicated to digital acceleration.

Maintaining and sharing knowledge of requirements, key data types and data definitions, data stores, data creation process.

Support the life cycle management process for models.

Familiarity with ETL, SQL, SSIS, data warehousing and metadata management.

⦁ Hands-on experience with monitoring and BI tools such as Tableau, Arize.

Understand the user engagement with our merchant catalog and help enhance the browsing experience.

Research the user shopping experience and help build or improve processes.

Test the purchasing experience with merchants to identify points of confusion.

Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets

Experience with SQL and relational databases

Experience with R or Python for Data Analysis

Develop standard reports and commercial analysis to support the sales performance management

Experience with robotic process automation software & knowledge of AGILE methodologies preferred

Has skills with spreadsheets, databases, pivot tables and data query logic

Sound business knowledge specifically within a matrix organizational environment

Excellent communication (verbal and written) as well as interpersonal skills

Supports the sales incentive process for one or more commercial channels

Azure data engineering, data analyst and/or data science certifications

Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills  

Strong desire and business acumen for consultative solution selling

Minimum of two co-op work terms in related data engineering roles

Must be eligible to work 4 months starting in September

Registered in a formal co-op/internship program

Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a sales role, or has familiarity with sales processes and pipeline management.

Assist the Sales group in improving their skills in data understanding, utilization, tracking performance, and leveraging data to manage their accounts.

Work closely with the business intelligence, revenue management team, and marketing.

Manage the solution's evolution by capturing, prioritizing a features backlog, and releasing improvements.

3+ years of experience in visualization development or as a developer on BI projects.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and familiarity with database systems.

Document your findings and make them applicable to Eli’s user experience and business model.

Work with the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Manager to see how your findings fit into the regulatory strategy.

You have experience in reviewing scientific literature and using tools such as Pubmed, sci-hub, and Google Scholar.

Consult with Eli’s medical advisors to validate the relevance of your research findings to the clinical setting.

Gain a deep understanding of our users by participating in customer validation calls and reviewing customer research.

Experience or knowledge in writing SQL queries and data pipeline.

Experience or knowledge in basic JavaScript, CSS, HTML, or frontend development.

Experience or knowledge in react.js, chart.js, recharts, and/or jQuery.js.

Experience or knowledge in machine learning, data mining, statistical modelling and forecasting considered an asset.

Desire and capacity to acquire new knowledge and develop new skills, specifically in the commodities trading industry.

Experience in scripting languages, preferably Python.

Experience using machine-learning or data engineering libraries/frameworks, master data management

Able to confidently communicate ideas to an audience of peers/managers, comfortable and effective in working independently

Self Starter who takes initiative and is detail oriented and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment

Must be eligible to work 3 months starting in June 2023

One or more work terms in a data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning or software engineering related role.

Good familiarity with cloud application development and the tools required for building cloud-native data applications

Post-secondary education in business, computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent working experience

Build reports/dashboards to address ad hoc business requirements

3+ years experience in an analyst (or related) role

Working knowledge of SQL, R and/or Python

Translate systemic business needs into technical specifications through the development of proof-of-concept models

Participate in the execution of the user acceptance training (UAT) for each launch
