This role allows remote working up to three days per week, subject to change in future based on business needs. When working in the office, you will be located at our Burlington head office.

What you will do:
- Ensures adequate end user documentation and training.
- Develops proposals for small to medium projects in concert with the business and assists in developing accurate, compelling business cases and approaches for solutions
- Working with their Manager, the Business Analyst maintains a strong, collaborative, healthy working relationship with the business representatives and acts as an intermediary between the business and IT
- Assesses, researches, analyzes and documents business needs in accordance with Project Life Cycle methodology
- At the direction of their Manager, the Business Analyst will work with business areas to understand business challenges and construct options for addressing the challenge that also fits into the long-term business and IT strategy
- Ensure that integration projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
- As part of the solution team participate in tracking and prioritizing operational and business issues that need IT resources
- As directed, the Business Analyst may participate in and be responsible for aspects of the successful delivery of a solution including system, process flow changes, and end-user adoption
Strategic Planning and Operational Support
- Serve as a source of business and process knowledge to the IT team in collaborating and evolving the overall IT strategy
- Evolving knowledge over time of the Enterprise Architecture and related technologies to understand how these can be applied to improve business functions whether for efficiencies; revenue growth or other
- Participate in feasibility studies for software and system products under consideration for purchase, and give advice based on findings.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, operations, and the PMO in the modification of existing applications or services, and/ or development of new software programs and applications.
What you will bring:
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Exposure to project-based work structures.

- Strong knowledge of the Wolseley business including processes and the use of the Syntax ERP system
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel including macros
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Understands how to leverage technology to improve the business
- Knowledge of the Oracle Cloud Finance platform
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
