REQUIRED TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE:
• Leads cross-functional business process re-engineering teams and continuous improvement efforts. Identifies opportunities for process improvement and makes recommendations to service owners, including changes to job functions.
• Documents business processes using relevant modelling techniques such as Use Case, Swim-lane, and Data Flow Diagramming.
• Analyses processes to recommend fundamental improvements to management which exploit technology components, eliminate redundant tasks, and/or minimize duplication of effort.
• Conducts management interviews, research, and facilitated multi stakeholder workshops to elicit detailed business requirements. Performs analysis and facilitates stakeholder consensus to create documented, agreed upon to-be and as-is business requirements and specifications.
• Facilitate consensus with respect to conflicting requirements and requirements priorities.
• Challenge business clients on their assumptions and expectations and promote innovative changes.
Develops and maintains Requirements Traceability Matrix to ensure all business requirements, design components, and testing elements are being addressed by the project.
• Monitor adherence to business objectives, policies and standards, initiative scope, and consistency.
• Analyzes proposed Project Change Requests for impacts on documented Business Requirements and projected Business Benefits.
• Defines the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategy; Leads the UAT; manages development of UAT test cases.
• Leads the UAT, assigning testing tasks, managing issues and defects found during UAT and undertaking quality and completeness reviews.
• Analyzes training needs and supports the development of training plan and training curriculum or modifications to existing curriculum.
• Supports delivery of training.
• Works with project team and business stakeholders to ensure the Business is operationally ready to effectively utilize the implemented solution.
• Leads operation transition activities and documentation.
• Collaborate with Business Change Management project team members on business change management activities including supporting communications.
• Support solution configuration work led by implementation vendor.
• Demonstrated experience as BA on SAP project. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors implementation preferred.
• Previous experience working with Public Sector. Past project experience with Canadian municipality considered an asset.
