Job Description
Our client specializes in Test Automation and Performance Engineering services and is focused on providing top quality and innovative solutions to their clients by combining highly skilled individuals, proven processes and practices, and experienced leadership. They are looking to hire a Business Development Manager based out of GTA
Role Overview
You will assist our client to accelerate the growth of sales. You will bring high-energy to define, drive, and execute sales strategies, business development, and marketing to maximize sales profitability.
What Will You Do
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market trends
  • Identify QA Opportunities in Telecom, P&C Insurance industry and other verticals
  • Recommend and assist our client with the implementation of a CRM-like system to document all Sales activities including lead generation
  • Management Team
  • Generate channel partnerships with Systems Integrators
  • Direct and/or assist in creating proposals, presentations, and demos for potential and existing customers
  • Provide sales strategies for Testing, Test Automation, and Performance Engineering services
  • Adhere to and enhance our client's sales, account management, project delivery and standard operating procedures
  • Possess expertise in selling strategies, methodologies, strategic planning and execution, and employee motivation techniques
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels
  • Drive and/or assist with complex sales negotiations and helps close deals
  • Participate in Weekly and ad-hoc meetings
  • Maintain currency on testing, test automation, performance engineering, and software development concepts, practices, techniques, etc.
  • Maintain currency on our client's services and technology
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Provide updates to President and discuss plans, contacts, strategy, etc.
  • Account Management Review with President and Delivery Manager(s)
What Will You Bring
  • You should have proven experience and success track record of selling technology solutions and services to new or prospective customers.
  • You will bring expertise in Business Development, Client Management, Negotiation and Bid Management
  • You should be self-driven, constantly learning, collaborative and innovative in your ways of working.
  • You should also have a demonstrated ability to create and nurture new business opportunities while bringing value to customers.
  • You should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in selling to Insurance, Telecom and retail enterprises preferably working in a leading IT services and products firm
