What you will do:


Revenue Generation


  • Re-pricing of merchants to profitable level where applicable
  • Promote and Sell additional services offered by Global Payments and Existing Partners
  • Cross Sells/Up Sells of bank card services
  • Identify all sales opportunities within assigned Small Business Portfolios
  • Terminal sales and upgrades


Customer Retention / Account Maintenance


  • Integrated POS Setups
  • Equipment setups
  • Add Locations Setups
  • Account Changes
  • Proactively call our top merchants to ensure a positive relationship is maintained
  • Maintain a 60% save ratio
  • Leading Integration Projects
  • Handle all retention issues using strong negotiation skills to maintain the merchant at a threshold of 45 BP
  • New Merchant Location Setups


Customer Service


  • Strong follow up for all setups and orders
  • 24-48 hour follow up with all Voice mail, Incidents, Emails
  • All issues must be documented in CSP with follow up resolutions
  • One stop Resolution
  • Minimize all escalation issues at first point of contact


What we’re looking for:


  • Great ability at effectively managing time and establishing priorities and strong organizational skills to deliver products and services to clients
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on sales/superior customer service skills
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in customer service related roles
  • Strong analytical skills required to work independently and escalate to management when necessary
  • Ability to identify all merchant needs and issues using probing skills and utilizing open ended questions
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills
  • Very good at building relationships and nurturing them via telephone and email
  • Post secondary education in Business, Administration, Sales or Marketing
  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn and understand all Global Payments services, products and rate structures
  • A natural talent for negotiation
  • Sales experience
  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Strong outbound and inbound phone sales skills
