Job Description

ASSOCIATE ACCOUNT MANAGER
Notified has an Associate Account Manager job opening. The Associate Account Manager be responsible for nurturing relationships and growing business with existing accounts within an assigned territory as well as manage the monthly revenue of the existing book of business in assigned accounts through up-sell and renewals. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to expand the Notified portfolio through cross-sell of products in existing accounts. We help our clients more effectively communicate, collaborate and connect with their audiences through a diverse portfolio of Investor Relation and Public Relation solutions including Webhosting, Webcasting, Press Release Distribution, Media Monitoring, Social Listening, Media/Event/Newswire Analysis & Analytics and Design & Webhosting for Investor Relations websites
Essential Duties
  • Proactively manage pipeline; input, monitor, and update opportunities using our CRM in a timely fashion
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date expert understanding of assigned account solutions and understanding of relevant competitor solutions
  • Locate the appropriate account buyer for renewal and up-sell opportunities
  • Lead the sales process in renewals and up-sell opportunities
  • Identify and coordinate timely involvement of sales operations resources in the sales cycle to improve efficiencies
  • Achieve assigned sales billing and quotas
  • Communicate value proposition to existing accounts
  • Monitor account satisfaction and identify customer problems; coordinate with Notified Customer Engagement to remedy situations
  • Manage the overall relationship with the assigned accounts
  • Identify opportunities to grow the Notified Investor Relations and Public Relations solutions in assigned accounts
  • Develop, manage, and nurture relationships with accounts, increasing their affinity for Notified’s products, adding new contracts, and likelihood of renewals
  • Research and actively identify emerging trends that influence Notified’s value proposition
Education
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, information technology, or a related field
Experience
2 years of experience in a sales role or a relevant account management role
Preference will be given to candidates who possess digital media account management experience
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Self-starter with excellent time-management skills
  • Superior relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; experience delivering compelling presentations to large audiences
  • Required experience in managing account relationships, identifying additional sales opportunities, and closing deals
  • Prior professional experience working with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory, on short notice, as needed
