Area Sales Manager - Aftermarket

The Client:

Metric Search are working with a global leading engineered equipment manufacturer on a hiring project for their North American business. The company are recognized as a global-leader in flow control solutions. The company design, manufacture and service custom-engineered valves and systems to a range of market applications. A lot of their products are built to withstand harsh environments, such as high temperature, high pressure or highly corrosive materials. They have a mission to make processes safer and greener, and continue to be at the forefront of engineering.

The Position:

This world leading company are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to lead business development efforts in Western Canada. This will focused on growing sales for aftermarket business in the energy sector. You will be managing existing accounts and trying to win business from new ones.

Responsibilities:

• Promote the company’s aftermarket products & services effectively (repairs, upgrades, parts, maintenance, retrofits)
• Be proactive in meeting and exceeding annual sales targets
• Manage existing accounts to identify new opportunities and increase business done with them

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in the valves market
• Proven record of growing revenue and meeting sales targets
• Based in Calgary or Edmonton
• Background of selling aftermarket services & products
• Bachelors degree preferred, not required)
