Job Description
Tundra Process Solutions is currently seeking an Aftermarket ANSI Lead based out of our Edmonton South Branch. Do you eat, sleep and breathe valves in various varieties? Are you a self-starter with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems, create estimates and quotes on the fly and have recent experience in valve service and parts? If you answered yes, then you might just be who we're looking for.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
  • Creating purchase orders for original requests, and follow up revisions when required
  • Communicating with Vendors on related queries and concerns
  • Creating scope packages which include (but are not limited to): overall scope, estimates, list of all parts, third-party orders and follow ups
  • Encouraging a positive client relationship and provide project related updates and information
  • Managing/updating ANSI Microsoft Teams spreadsheet & scheduling production
  • Creating billing packages for invoice submission
  • Compiling and reviewing all evaluation reports - including Fast Field reports
  • Completing all estimates (parts, third-party sourcing, requisitions)
Requirements
  • College Diploma/ Post Secondary Education or equivalent is preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years working on valves in a shop environment as an ANSI Technician or equivalent mechanical experience
  • Knowledge of Gate, Globe, Control, Check, Ball, and other valves is an asset
  • The ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot mechanical problems
  • Occasion overnight travel to customer sites required
  • Must have a basic command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Valid H2S, CSTS, Fall Arrest, and WHIMIS is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Ability to adapt to new ideas, technology, processes, or product changes
