Your Contribution to NRSI


NRSI is looking for a qualified individual to assist our current administrative team with various administrative and accounting tasks. This role requires a physical presence in our Calgary, Alberta office, as you will be an integral part of company communication and organization. You will be responsible for providing support to a growing team of employees, day-to-day office operations, and you will work with other administrative staff to manage facilities and vendors across the company, including printing services, couriers, vehicle rentals, caterers, suppliers and trades people, event organization and coordination, and more.


Your Education & Certifications:


Completion of a post-secondary education with an emphasis in Office Administration plus a minimum of 5 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is preferred.


Technical Requirements:


  • Willing to work outside of standard business hours, if necessary.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the proven ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize workflow and meet deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor and personable attitude with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with all levels of management, staff and external clients and vendors.


Additional Assets:


  • Experience with computer hardware set-up and installation (e.g., monitors, printers, and other peripherals).
  • Bookkeeping experience, such as entering transactions into accounting software or preparing invoices for clients.
  • Experience installing applications and changing settings on a variety of phone and tablet models.
  • Committed to continual improvement of technical abilities.
  • Familiar with Quickbooks accounting program.


Position Type: Part-time permanent (minimum 25 hours per week with the possibility of working into full-time (40 hours per week), if desired).


Start Date: August 1, 2023

Salary: $35,000-$38,000 annually (based on 25 hours a week) (commensurate on experience)
