Job Description
Job Title: Compliance Coordinator
Industry: Transport
Location: Dorval
Our client in the Transportation industry is looking to add a Compliance Coordinator for the Drivers. This person will be responsible for managing and monitoring all compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards for all drivers.
If you have experience working for a trucking company, handling all documentation for drivers and/or dealt with drivers in the past as a dispatch, than this role could be for you!

Responsibilities
  • Manage and evaluate accident and incident reports, and provide assistance to drivers and brokers with their reports
  • Create Dangerous Goods users and pull monthly reports to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Assist with managing and monitoring insurance renewals, as well as SAAQ license and plate renewals
  • Update and maintain the insurance report to ensure accuracy and completeness of data (quarterly)
  • Perform any related tasks as assigned to ensure smooth operations
  • Oversee IFTA renewals and reports, complete fuel tax reports and returns, and request owner/operator SAAQ Annual Inspection reports
  • Act as the primary liaison with the insurance company, continuously following up on claims to ensure a timely resolution
  • Administer fuel chips for drivers to ensure proper fuel usage and record-keeping
  • Conduct daily inventory checks and monitor fuel prices to ensure proper management of resources
  • Manage, supply, and assign cellphones, uniforms, and PPE to drivers and staff
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations (asset)
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze problems and find solutions quickly
  • Professionalism and good organizational skills
  • 1 year experience in a similar role (safety & compliance or dispatching for truckers)
  • Bilingual (French & English)
