• Manage HR administrative duties such as benefits, reports and programs

Coach managers on Health and Safety matters

5+ years of Health and Safety experience

Create a safety program and protocols

Develop and implement Health and Safety plans for the company (hazards audits, legislation)

Participate and advise in Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings

A self-starter, can manage time and multiple responsibilities effectively

Prepare offer letters, coordinate onboarding process and conduct criminal and reference checks

You have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience)

Manage the data integrity of the HR Master Data in SAP, ADP, and other databases including Benefits and Group Retirement.

Partner with Regional HRIS to develop HR metrics and various dashboard tools to provide information and decision-making tools for senior management.

Provide document tracking and records management for employee records and compliance areas.

Assist with background checks, and partner with the HRBPs and Regional Talent Acquisition Team to assist with general candidate management activities.

Strong technical capabilities with HRIS systems required. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and ADP strongly preferred.

Previous Payroll Administration experience with a focus on payroll and/or benefits administration preferred

Knowledge or experience of US and Canadian payroll principles is an asset

Reviews team member timecards using Time and Attendance system; identifies inconsistencies; liaises with managers to resolve issues

Manage the month-end and year-end payroll processing by running reports and assisting the Accounting and Finance team with auditing and balancing.

Data entry into the payroll and benefits system, including new hires, leaves, terminations, and any employment related changes.

Respond to employee and manager inquiries about payroll and benefits.

Additional education, including the Canadian Payroll Certification (PCP), or working towards certification is considered an asset

Analyses requirements for reports, drafts and with approvals implements reports to improve the decision making capabilities of NPower Canada management.

Experience with confidential information Ability to effectively interact with senior management as well as employees at all levels within the organization

Prior experience in areas of Employee Relations, Recruitment, Performance Management and Employee Development

Provides strategic input to management for improvements to the HR Systems.

As required, provide actual employee and manager training on the self-service and leave management module.

Prepare reports and forecasts for senior management and custom reports as required
