Water Treatment Field Service Technician

Keytech Water Management, a Kurita company, is currently seeking an experienced Field Water Treatment Service Technician, to assist in support of our water treatment customers, located in the London/Southwestern Ontario Area.

Responsibilities

· Travel to and perform regular Industrial Water Treatment Services at existing customer locations including chemical testing/reporting/product delivery and decanting/chemical additions/equipment adjustment and minor repair/troubleshooting

· Additional work as required including chemical cleaning of customer systems, equipment/installation and/or field repair services

· Complete Customer service electronic reporting services for each service visit

· Effectively communicate with Sales representatives, support personnel and customers

· Complete all required follow up requirements as needed

Qualifications

· Must be a self- starter and able to work independently

· Must have water treatment experience

· Highly organized with excellent time management skills

· Team player and ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and customers

· Mechanically minded individual

· Technical skills and experience in the areas of mechanical, plumbing and electrical an asset

· Professional written/verbal communication and people skills

· Computer skills and familiarity with commonly used software programs (Outlook, Excel)

· Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials (chemical pails/drums and related equipment

· Safety conscious individual. WHMIS, TDG and Safety training to be provided. Past experience and additional safety training an asset.

· Valid driver’s license (G) and clean drivers abstract required

· Minimum 3-year Experience Required

· Police check may be required

· Preference towards candidates with experience in the Water Treatment industry

· Preference towards candidates with post-secondary technical and/or science related education
