Field Service Technician Jobs

Southpoint Equipment in Reeces Corners (Wyoming) is a growing business, supporting the sale and service of Kubota products for farm, lawn and garden, landscaping and construction needs. We are looking for a service technician to perform mechanical repair and maintenance on agriculture, construction, and heavy equipment. Preference is given to licensed techs who understand the Agriculture and Construction market. Apprentice techs that want a rewarding career will also be considered. This position reports to the Service Manager. Compensation will differ based on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Install new and added-on equipment.
• Other mechanical work as required.
• Inspect and test equipment, diagnose faults and malfunctions, repair and replace mechanical units, test and adjust units to proper specifications
• Complete accurate and timely reports to record problems and work performed
• Perform scheduled maintenance service, and advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
• Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and techniques.

• Computer literate and able to utilize and learn new technology
• Currently pursuing a license or hold a Journeyman license in agriculture or heavy equipment (Preferred)
• Farm and construction technician: 1 year (Preferred)
• 3 years+ years as a licensed service technician (Preferred)
• Will consider truck (310T) or auto (310S) technician

Education and Experience

• Minimum high school diploma
