Vice President Of Distribution

The Vice President of Distribution, is responsible for implementing strategies for distribution and logistics within Foodbuy. You will work with various stakeholders and maintain relationships within the industry, while managing a highly diverse team.

• Drive continuous improvement activities
• Develop partnerships with vendors to maximize value and performance
• Maintain distribution and logistics industry contacts as the strategic lead on industry related issues
• Implement strategic initiatives focused on increasing operational efficiencies and driving cost savings
• Deliver on established financial and performance targets
• Collaborate with other functions to deliver business objectives and enhanced business performance
• Maintain key relationships with internal Stakeholders
• Work directly with senior level stakeholders to support execution with Sectors and committed Customers

• Supply chain experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership to the function and at the same time contribute at the operational level
• Evidence of an ability to influence and manage cross-functional teams
• Strong networking skills combined with the ability to influence and get things done through informal as well as formal channels
• Ability to operate at pace in an entrepreneurial environment
• Proven experience managing a P & L or budget and delivering plan results
• 10+ years’ experience in the food distribution industry and deep functional expertise
• Excellent communicator and relationship builder
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with colleagues in all aspects of a business
