Job Description
Adecco is currently recruiting for a Travel Booking Administrator. This is a full-time permanent opportunity, and the position is full time in the office from 8:30-4:30 OR 9:00-5:00 with some travel to conventions. This role is on-site. This role is with our client located in downtown Ottawa, ON.
The Travel Booking Administrator will have the following responsibilities:
  • Will handle the reservations, changes and cancellations up to the day of check-in.
  • Will enter the relevant information into our Events software and create an Event.
  • Will prepare rooming lists and work with the hotel to ensure all reservations are exact and add or release rooms as per the contract deadlines and client requirements.
  • Delegates will call, email or complete an online form created in Events as per the clients' requirements and direction.
  • Ensure all tools, equipment and material required are available in the work area
  • Prepare reports for clients and ensure their delegates are well serviced in securing their accommodation requirements for a seamless travel experience.
The Travel Booking Administrator must meet the following mandatory requirements:
  • Professionally interact with clients and hotel contacts
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Meet deadlines with accuracy
  • Adept at computer systems
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Problem solving
  • Remain calm under pressure
  • Outstanding communication
  • 2 years minimum experience in customer service
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Ability to work alone as well as in a team environment
