Job Description
Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity


As an important member of our Customer Programs team, the Business Analyst (Customer Onboarding) will align technology systems with business operations by analyzing and developing requirements for product launches, system enhancements, and program change requests. Their responsibilities will also include conducting testing in emails, technical data platforms, and resolve defects.


Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.


Reporting Relationship: You will report to Manager, Customer Onboarding


Your Moneris Career - What you'll do


  • Work with development team to design solutions for API, Batch etc. Participate in technical design sessions, working with technical resources, to provide insight during solution development.
  • Participate in detailed discovery of data from the source, mapping the data to the data model after analysis.
  • Review and develop system architecture designs. Interface between partners, data source owners and application developers to establish requirements and use cases.
  • Establish a clear and succinct testing and UAT process for program enhancements.
  • Perform quantitative analysis to identify trends and data insights using SQL and other data mining tools.
  • Manage incoming support tickets that support us (missing communications, incorrect data, etc).
  • Work with Product Owners and Business representatives to understand requirements, create stories and specs and groom developers and QAs accordingly.
  • Support internal training sessions; establish proper program documentation; create agreement across important partners (Sales, Operations, Risk, Data, etc).
  • Conduct QA/testing across multiple platforms, devices & browsers. Ensure email deliverability, review results, and investigate issues that arise. Resolve bugs, defects, and other potential issues.
  • Analyze & acquire data from primary and secondary data sources – creating mapping specifications for use by development resources.
  • Be a subject matter expert with regards to our needs and change request related activities
  • Support the planning, design and the execution processes of Moneris’ corporate customer onboarding program (Welcome Cadence)
  • Create test data to verify expected layout and content of automatically generated emails.


Your Moneris Career - What you bring


  • Strong operational discipline with an analytical, process-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in working with SQL and NoSQL tools.
  • Familiar with Salesforce CRM and Google Analytics
  • Experience with system architecture, data platforms and design.
  • Experience of programming languages like SQL and system integration solutions.
  • Experience with HTML/CSS to format & create emails
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience obtaining requirements from business users and subject matter experts reviewing business priorities, and analyzing options and risks.
  • Great handle on project management & support.
  • Highly analytical and good understanding of databases, technical architecture, and query tools.
  • Experience in Email Marketing platforms (i.e. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot)
