Job Description

Our clients in the NPO sector is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Accounting & Finance dept. for a 12 month contract.


The role will require working in their North York office 1 day a week (4 days will be remote).


About the Opportunity:

  • Participates in the period end closing and reporting process; liaise with the auditor and provide information as needed.
  • Documents policies and procedures.
  • Prepares regulatory reporting
  • Other duties as required.
  • Prepares journal entries and reconciles general ledger accounts.
  • Prepares monthly financial reports and variance analysis; assists with the preparation of budgets.


About You:

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel; experience with large ERP system.
  • 3+ years in financial analysis and/or technical accounting in a small to medium sized organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in order to research and escalate issues
  • Designated CPA or in process
  • Solid organizational and time management skills in order to prioritize competing demands
