Senior Director – Business Development – Competitive Salary + Benefits – Etobicoke, ON
The Role

Reporting directly to the President/CEO, you'll need to be a self-motivated individual, adept at handling multiple tasks and resolving problems swiftly. This role provides an exceptional opportunity for you to take ownership and demonstrate your leadership skills. Your key responsibility will be to grow Fortigo's business by maintaining strong relationships with senior management personnel at Fortune 500 companies and smaller, thereby increasing our customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage performance of a sales team.
- Participate in annual budget process to arrive and margin and revenue targets both on an annual basis and for a three-year plan.
- Participate in developing the Company Sales Strategy.
- Coordinate and execute Sales meetings, trade shows and conferences, as required.
- Frequent travel required within Canada and the US to participate in sales presentations, negotiations, and senior level meetings.
- Promote and foster internal leadership with all functions within the business including: Admin., Finance and Operations.

The Person
- Understanding of the Transportation environment.
- Experience in a Senior Sales Leadership role in the Transportation Industry (preferably in the dedicated fleet arena).
- Outstanding Leadership and Customer Relationship Skills.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate effective organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and oral presentation skills.
- Completion of post-secondary education.
