Job Description
At HealthOPM, Our People Matter. We were founded to address the workforce gaps in the healthcare sector. We work with clients in all healthcare sectors including long term care, retirement communities, hospitals, health centers and community clinics anywhere in Canada that care is needed.


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven External Recruiter / Business Development Specialist / Sourcing Specialist to join our healthcare staffing agency. As an External Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in developing marketing strategies and attracting new clients to expand our business. Your primary responsibility will be to prospect new business opportunities in your selected territory, identify, qualify, and close leads and sales opportunities in a timely and consistent manner. In this role we will maintain communication with you on a weekly basis. This will be the opportunity for you to report your results for the week with updates on your progress with business relationships discussing successes and opportunities in sales and marketing areas.


The ideal candidate will increase income and revenue for the business by managing and negotiating with potential clients and generating leads. You will also be responsible for researching sales competition, which in turn will help you adjust and improve your marketing strategies. You will be expected to drive business to the company using various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations, organizing community events etc) and sales strategies.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract new clients for our healthcare staffing agency.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to showcase our capabilities and win new business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of services to new clients.
  • Understand clients' staffing needs and requirements, and provide tailored solutions to meet their demands.
  • Identify potential business opportunities by conducting thorough market research and analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market developments to identify potential areas for growth and differentiation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the healthcare industry.
  • Develop a database of qualified leads from referrals through face-to-face cold calling on referral providers, email, telephone and Web.
  • Proactively prospect for new clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and online platforms.
  • Qualify leads and opportunities by conducting thorough assessments and evaluating their suitability for our services.
  • Achieve inquiry generation objectives for assigned territory with the primary goal of bringing in new business. Your target accounts include, but are not limited to, health care centres, insurance companies, hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, senior centers, hospice, rehabilitation centers, etc.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits of our healthcare staffing solutions to potential clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls; presentations; closed sales; and follow-up activities within the assigned territory, to maximize territory potential.
  • Develop sales and marketing plans, detailing weekly and monthly activities focused on meeting or exceeding established goals.
  • Develop Referral Provider Network relationships


Requirements:


  • Willingness to travel within the designated territory to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and evaluate business opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Account Management experience
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, trends, and regulations.
  • Experience in the health care industry (nice to have)
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development, preferably in the healthcare staffing industry.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
  • Track record of over exceeding quotas
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
