Outside Sales/Account Manager - Folding Cartons Packaging

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be selling custom-printed boxes and cartons to business clients in North America. You will be selling a product that will never become obsolete, The packaging industry is in high growth and the need for boxes and cartons continues to grow year over year. This position includes a base salary of $90,000 - $150,000 plus uncapped commission, car allowance and a lot of other perks!

Their modern manufacturing facilities are equipped to help businesses meet all of their packaging goals, on time and on budget. They differentiate themselves by being able to print custom-printed boxes and cartons, They are known for their speedy turnaround, high quality, and very competitive pricing. They have facilities in Scarborough, Ontario, and Cobourg, Ontario. The Cobourg plant is one of the largest in Ontario with a 230,000 sq feet facility. They offer a complete design, manufacturing, and finishing production house. Among other equipment, including their state-of-the-art machinery includes a Heidelberg Speedmaster CX 102-6+L with full automation and UV capabilities, Heidelberg-MK Promatrix 106 CS and 106 CSB die cutters, and a Heidelberg-MK Diana Easy folder gluer. They have the expertise needed to meet business unique packaging goals in a cost-effective way.

THE LOCATION

• This position would be reporting to the Scarborough, Ontario office.
• This is an Outside Sales role with client visits required and being in the office when needed
• Head office - Scarborough, Ontario with two facilities in Scarborough and Cobourg, Ontario

THE PRODUCT/SERVICE

You will be selling short, and long-run custom-printed boxes and cartons.

PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS

The market for custom box and carton package printing is large and continues to grow long-term. Customers are those who require product packaging, typically companies that sell products directly to consumers.

PRODUCT AND SALES CYCLE

• The company is targeting customers who will generate a minimum of $200,000 per year of sales, typical in the Food/Beverage and CPG industries
• The typical sales cycle is between one to three months from a presentation.

TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES

• Hunting – Prospecting - 60%
• Account Management - 15%
• Production-related duties / Preparing Quotes - 10%
• Presenting - 15%

Preferred Experience & Background

• Minimum 3 years of selling custom-printed boxes and cartons experiences
• 5-10 yrs+ sales experiences

• Post-secondary, or professional experience equivalent.
