Cranson Capital Securities is searching for an experienced, entrepreneurial, highly connected and motivated individual to market and sell its private equity real estate investment opportunities to accredited investors.
As a licensed Dealing Representative (DR) you are responsible for marketing exclusive private investment opportunities with care and professionalism to accredited investors. You will manage relationships with investors and centres of influence (COI's) to build and cultivate a network of investors. The successful candidates will also manage ongoing client relationships and ensure that the Cranson brand is well represented throughout the relationship. This role is highly flexible and will allow the successful candidate to work remotely as well as in office.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow strong relationships with investors
- Develop and implement sales strategies to foster and grow an investor network (including high net worth individuals and institutions) which is able to absorb our growing pipeline of private real estate investments
- Clearly and succinctly communicate with investors regarding industry and economic trends, deal financials and structuring (including return analysis), investment performance, as well as individual investment and portfolio risk
- Clearly articulate Cranson offerings to investors and ensure all required paperwork is thoroughly completed and submitted in a timely manner
- Accurately document all customer communication and profiles in the companies CRM platform
- Adhere to all company processes and compliance policies including “Know Your Customer (KYC)” procedures which determine client suitability for investments
- Adhere to the “Know Your Product (KYP)” procedures to understand the structure and complexity of individual transactions
- Adhere to the company and OSC compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Experience in real estate is an asset
- Well organized, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Post-Secondary degree (preferably Business related) or financial designation required
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and drive to take the initiative while displaying sound judgement
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the financial services or real estate industries in a client facing capacity with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work with a high level of independence
- Technical aptitude which provides the ability to quickly pick up new software such as databases, CRM’s, and online deal rooms
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
- Exempt Market Products (EMP) designation (can be obtained prior to start date) or other OSC proficiency requirement met
- Ability to access an existing network of high net worth investors is a definite asset
- Passion for selling combined with highly developed interpersonal skills which bring comfort in investor interactions whether they are one on one or in a public speaking format
- Strong connections in large ethnic communities is an asset
