MPR Advisors Inc., a leading real estate appraisal and land use planning company specializing in valuations related to expropriation, Section 42, and Section 37 in Ontario, is seeking a talented and highly motivated Research Analyst to join our team. As a Real Estate Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing valuable insights and analysis on real estate market trends, property valuations, and regulatory factors that impact our appraisal services. Responsibilities:

·Conduct thorough research and analysis on real estate market trends, market demand, and supply dynamics.

·Gather and interpret data from a variety of sources, such as property records, land use controls, market reports, governmental regulations, and industry publications.

·Prepare comprehensive highest and best use assessments.

·Analyze and evaluate property valuations, considering factors such as comparable sales, income potential, land use restrictions, and zoning regulations.

·Prepare detailed reports and appraisal documents that effectively communicate research findings and valuation conclusions to internal stakeholders, clients, and legal entities.

·Collaborate with appraisers and senior team members to gather relevant information, provide research support, and assist in the appraisal process.

·Stay updated on relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards related to expropriation, Section 42, and Section 37 to ensure compliance and accuracy in appraisal assignments.

·Support the preparation of expert reports and testimonies for legal proceedings, as required.

Qualifications:

·Bachelor's degree in urban planning, real estate, economics, finance, or a related field. Additional certifications or designations related to real estate appraisal are preferred.

·Proven experience as an analyst in the real estate industry, with a focus on property valuation and market research.

·Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize complex data from various sources.

·Proficiency in using real estate research tools, databases, and software applications.

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

·Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
