Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position in the product and parts supply channel is to ensure adequate availability of equipment, at the desired locations, at all times. It involves setting up warehouses' inventory min/max levels and creating purchase orders to maintain the optimal level of safety stock to ensure that all Distribution Centre stock levels are fulfilled. In addition, you are responsible for scheduling and coordinating of product, accurately maintaining and updating GERS with all orders, confirmations, revisions and receiving information while acting as a liaison between warehouses, internal partners, franchisees and suppliers.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as a courteous and friendly central point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Require periodic coverage of shift to maintain sufficient staffing level between the operation hours of 7am to 5pm
  • Prepare reports to measure performance and results
  • Fulfill request and process purchase orders
  • Maintain accuracy of SKU Master file
  • Achieve defined productivity and performance measures on a consistent basis
  • Tracking and updating vendor log to ensure all related issues and compliments are promptly and accurately recorded
  • Schedules/coordinates shipments for replenishment of inventory requirements
  • Follow up with the product suppliers regarding orders/shipments
  • Monitor and update warehouses profile as required
  • Ability to provide reporting and data analysis as requested by management
  • Other duties as assigned by management
  • Undertake special projects and assignments as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Excellent computer skills (Excel and Word)
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Experience in Inventory and/or Purchasing Systems (Clarify, GERS)
  • Post-Secondary education is an asset
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently
  • Good knowledge of equipment suppliers an asset
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of all warehousing business processes and how they relate to consistently deliver customer satisfaction
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a customer service oriented environment
  • Results focused and team oriented
