Performs and coordinates various administrative/ad-hoc duties for the Management team when required

Manage entire supply chain cycle from Purchase order to receipt.

Develop and manage vendor score cards for performance and reviews.

Evaluate and source existing and new vendors for materials, equipment, supplies and service.

Negotiate pricing for materials and supplies.

Work closely with sales departments to ensure proper communication and planning of material supply.

Note: Experience in the food industry is a must

Currently looking for Purchasing Coordinator

Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) including SAP and Coupa.

Previous experience with supply chain management preferred.

Purchasing and Purchase Order Management

Continue to grow lean knowledge and use the tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement.

Perform internal inventory audits and checks on a regular basis and communicate results to the manager.

Analyze data and forecast requirements with vendors.

Ability to provide reporting and data analysis as requested by management

Other duties as assigned by management

Schedules/coordinates shipments for replenishment of inventory requirements

Post-Secondary education is an asset

Experience in Inventory and/or Purchasing Systems (Clarify, GERS)

Good working knowledge and understanding of all warehousing business processes and how they relate to consistently deliver customer satisfaction

Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Word.

Update min/max requirements for the branches and Technician’s.

Experience as an Inventory Coordinator or Purchasing Agent

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Ability to adapt to different situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Manage purchase orders and work orders

1+ years of experience as a Purchasing Coordinator or similar position

Post-secondary education in a related field

Experience with Sage300 an asset

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Support Senior Manager with one off projects and/or Procurement efficiencies as and when required

Process RFI, RFQ, RFP & evaluate responses to identify best product & price at the right time.

Participate in negotiating contracts and leverage the opportunity for cost reduction.

Trigger Contracts & Agreement for renewal of products and services to perform timely renewals.

Maintain up to date records and documents in the information systems on orders and services.

Partner with other team members on operational processes, weekly calls, and objectives

Two-year college diploma in Business, Accounting or Supply Chain Management

In progress or interest in pursuing the CSCMP (Certified Supply Chain Management Professional)

Facilitate the vendor-managed inventory process, ensuring no stock-outs

Consolidate purchases of materials to achieve maximum economic benefit

Minimum of one to two years of purchasing or inventory control experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The successful candidates must possess the following Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Manage and replenish stock and sample inventory

Ensure imported products meet all CFIA requirements

Work with warehouse personnel to manage close to code product

Have minimum 5 years working experience

Knowledge of food importing and inventory control a definite asset

Strong analytical and data management skills

Experience with planning systems and processes (MRP)

Experience with buying products for manufacturing

Able to independently manage and follow through multi-step project steps/procedures consistently

Must possess clear written and verbal communication, creative problem solving and interpersonal

Results driven with a sense of urgency to business needs.

Price list management, including ownership of the general pricelists and assistance in managing customer specific price lists.

Oversight and management of open sales orders. Including follow-up with branch leaders.

Work harmoniously with all other employees and departments and Company management.

Assist in managing assets, including but not limited to vehicles, forklifts, racking, and facilities.

Assist in managing inventory parameters, ensuring the correct levels of the correct products are on the shelves.

Reporting and data analysis with respect to operational performance.
