We are currently seeking a Project Manager (Life & Annuties) - REMOTE to join our team! This is a fully remote role so that you can work from the comfort of your home office anywhere in Canada!

This is a permanent, fulltime, salaried position with benefits. Not open to C2C or C2H.

Job Responsibilities Include

• Develop plans for Cutover activities, working with various project development teams, support team, infrastructure teams, data conversion team, Testing and Business Operations
• Create weekend/off-hour coverage so people can be reached when needed
• Flawless execution of the plans by proactively identifying risks and creating mitigation plans
• Rigorious tracking and monitoring of the Cutover plans, including status reporting, issues tracking, and managing escalations
• Post-cutover support planning and execution
• Proactively identify problems, getting teams together to solve them in most expeditious way and to client satisfaction

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant Project Management experience in large Life Insurance and Annuity programs

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing Mainframe, Microsoft, Web technologies
• Experience interfacing w Infrastructure, Testing and Business Operations organizations
• Strong ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources
• Experience implementing large programs that includes complex integration model
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience in developing and managing Cutover Plans for Large L&A Programs
• Experience managing data conversion programs
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Strong influencing and communication skills
• Strong ability to identify and evaluate existing and potential IT and business challenges
