Knowledge and proven experience working with clients in a PSR (Psychosocial Rehabilitation) approach.

Manage the assessment of physical and social needs of the client to ensure program meets client’s needs.

Ensure training objectives and requirements are met while ensuring on-going training and development for staff, students and volunteers.

Knowledge and training in GPA, Montessori Methods for Dementia, PIECES and Restorative Care.

First Aid and CPR certification.

Minimum one (1) year experience working with children and families required, preferably in a Child Life program.

Preference will be given to candidates with work, student or volunteer experience working in a Child Life program.

Stay updated on relevant insurance and financial industry regulations and being updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques

Valid LLQP (Life License Qualification Program) license in Ontario is mandatory.

Experience interfacing w Infrastructure, Testing and Business Operations organizations

Demonstrate an ability to work productively in a high-pressure environment and effectively and proactively manage client deliverables

3 years of individual Life underwriting experience

Excellent verbal and written skills – communicating across, up, and down the reporting chain and to client companies

Experience in all lines of business – Life, CI, DI

Strong negotiation and collaboration skills

Ability to interpret, assimilate and apply numerous guidelines, reports, data to manage and set priorities
