The People Experience Specialist is responsible for developing people engagement strategies and plans that will define the overall people research strategy & analytic approach, which will include developing a people listening approach to collect people engagement and experience data. They will also define and maintain the employee value proposition for the company. Collaborating with other HR leaders, the Workforce Insights and Talent Acquisition teams, and other key leaders across the organization, this role requires a highly collaborative approach to reach recommendations on workforce planning needs.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s people research strategy & analytic approach, which will include developing an employee listening approach to collect people engagement and experience data
- Support learning and communications regarding people experience and engagement in the business, upskilling leaders and employees where applicable, and in collaboration with the central Learning team
- Manage external partners/vendor relationships for specific projects
- Act as the key point of contact for leaders across the organization, partnering to educate, communicate, and deliver people experience services and data insights to support company’s business objectives, using data insights to gain buy-in, and support for people experience program development
- Design, implementation, and maintenance of key elements of the company’s people experience plan, including people engagement plan, employee flexible work strategy and policies and employee value proposition
- Development and management of project specific metrics and dashboards
- Collaborate with other HR Teams on the design of people experience initiatives
- Development of an appropriate feedback loop and use of research, data, and analysis to ensure measurement of People Experience initiatives and programs
Position Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and experience:
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (i.e. Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Behaviour, etc.) • Several years of related experience designing and implementing a people experience or engagement plan and initiatives within a large, complex environment
- Demonstrated experience advising leaders in the business on people engagement insights and developmental areas based on data-driven insights
- Demonstrated application of best practices in the full range of people experience activities, people engagement principles, methodologies, and tools
- Experience working within the insurance industry is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to collect and analyse data to assist in problem solving and informed decision making related to people experience
