The leading global Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner is looking for an experienced People Experience Manager, and this position will be based in Canada.


Purpose


Sitting in our People Experience function within the wider People & Culture team, this role is custodian for ensuring our colleagues have the best possible experience whilst working for Valiantys.


Working across the designated region (be that Europe or North America), our People Experience Manager will work with every level of the organization to identify and deliver improvements around our People Experience.


Responsibilities


Under the direction of the Head of Talent & Experience, our People Experience Manager will ensure the smooth implementation and maintenance of all elements related to an employee lifecycle. From induction, career progression, and well being through to leaving the organization, our People Experience Manager will be with the business, and our colleagues every step of the way.


Induction


Working as the wrap around to both our Talent Acquisition team (who have worked so hard to find the best talent!) and our People Operations team (who will have handled the contracts, payroll, and benefits for our new starters), we need our People Experience Manager to ensure all colleagues are truly set up for success and be responsible for organizing and maintaining our induction process. Making sure managers have created a rigorous induction plan, have organized a buddy, and are equipping our new colleagues with the relevant system training in order to navigate our organization effectively will all form part of our People Experience Manager's responsibility.


Career Progression


Working with our regional team managers to help them provide career and development opportunities for their team and providing insights and data points to the Head of Talent & Experience on progress. The People Experience Manager will also support performance management.


Wellbeing


Ensuring that the region has access to (and awareness of) support mechanisms to aid wellness.


Identifying any areas of improvement and opportunities to expand the wellbeing provision and conversation.


Performance Reviews & Feedback


Under the direction of the Head of Talent & Experience, the People Experience Manager in region will collaborate with all parties involved to ensure the smooth running of the region's performance review cycle. This entails ensuring goals are set in a timely manner, encouraging a frequent feedback culture, and managing any end-of-year review process and development plan.


Employee Voice


We want to continually listen to our employees; understanding what is important to them and to our managers and leaders, to help inform our regional and global People & Culture Strategy. The people experience manager will be gaining information on this from all interactions they have, from data sources, and from survey data too. This will then get fed through to the Head of Talent & Experience, and the CPO, to help bring the needs of our colleagues to life.


Manager Coaching & Support


Helping our business managers navigate the complex world they operate in, making sure they have access to advice (and directing them to the right place, depending on their query), and supporting the creation of our in-house manager training approach.


It is expected that the coaching and guiding of those in “Director", "Heads of" and at C-level would be handled by the Head of Talent & Experience, however, in order to have full departmental awareness, the People Experience Manager should build good business relations with this group as stakeholders.


Global Projects


Working as a team with members of our global People & Culture community to deliver projects across the board.

A strong and demonstrable background in an HR/People & Culture role—this role touches most aspects across the HR space.


Adaptability - this role will be working across multiple countries; France, UK, NL, Switzerland & Germany / US & Canada

Excellent stakeholder management
