The incumbent serves as a primary recruitment contact and ongoing liaison between the College and prospective students, community groups, secondary schools and other influencers. Through this outreach, the incumbent shares information about the application for admission, program information, course information and college support services. The incumbent also supports on campus events such as campus tours, open houses and special information sessions.
The incumbent is responsible for updating and maintaining the College customer relationship management system to create contacts and maintain relationships with prospective students and influencers.
The incumbent also assists the Manager of Community and Student Affairs and colleagues with planning, developing and implementing recruitment strategies

Required Qualifications
- Strong team work skills;
- Three (3) years of experience in a public relations, marketing, sales or related field;
- The position involves travel and flexibility as it can involve weekend/weeknight work during peak student recruitment periods.
- Organized with an ability to prioritize work;
- Experience in database management. Experience used Salesforce would be an asset;
- Exceptional public speaking skills;
- Valid Class G Ontario Driver's license;
- Two (2)-year College Diploma in Public Relations, Marketing, Business or a related field;
- Ability to build relationships with prospective students, families, educators and career/employment counsellors;
- Strong computer skills (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, etc.);
