Partnerships Manager – Settlement Service Agencies & Community Organizations


Status: Full-time, permanent

Location: Remote within Canada however candidates within Toronto, ON, Calgary AB or Montreal QC will be given preference

Reports to: Director, Partnerships

Salary Range: $75,500 – 80,000 plus a 10% bilingualism premium if you are bilingual in English and French.

About This Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to grown and deepen the ICC’s relationship with settlement service agencies and other immigrant-serving community organizations across Canada through forging and enhancing formal and informal partnerships.

Reporting to the Director, Partnerships, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that through our partnerships, every newcomer to Canada knows about, and has access to, the Canoo Access Program, the Newcomer Career Accelerator Program and other related programs.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with the ICC team to create special programs and opportunities so we can better support settlement agencies in their work
  • Liaise between ICC’s different departments and settlement agencies where required, for example, to facilitate joint research initiatives or funding proposals
  • Provide recommendations to ICC leadership on forging high-quality, supportive relationships with settlement agencies
  • Provide presentations to settlement agencies, and represent the ICC in relevant meetings and events (virtual and in-person)
  • Grow and strengthen the ICC’s relationships with settlement agencies across Canada
  • Work with settlement agencies to support our flagship Canoo program within and with their networks
  • Coordinate the distribution of ICC’s digital and physical collateral with settlement agencies and other community organizations
  • Keep agency partners up to date with ICC’s work, research, services and other offerings


What you’ll bring:

  • Advocacy experience is an asset
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail with an eye on the big picture.
  • Excellent organizational skills coupled with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a high-volume and results-oriented environment
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience working in the newcomer settlement sector in Canada
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce or similar is an asset
  • Preference for candidate to reside in Calgary, Toronto, or Montréal metropolitan areas.
  • Bilingualism in French is a strong asset
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and demonstrated success in writing clear and compelling messaging
  • High degree of comfort in verbal negotiations and customer service.
  • You’re moved by the objective to make the ICC a relevant actor within the immigrant serving organizations across Canada
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: partnerships, public relations, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, community outreach, sales
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the team and across departments.


Compensation:

  • A base salary of $75,000 – 80,000.00, commensurate with experience
