How you’ll make an impact


It’s an exciting time for the accounting industry as it undergoes a large-scale digital transformation. As a fundamental player on the Enterprise team you will have a direct impact on the success of large Canadian firms and the clients they serve. Working closely with the Partner Success Managers, this role executes on national initiatives that embed best practices of the Xero platform through beautiful consulting experiences, setting our Enterprise Partners up for success in all stages of their journey.You ’ll play a key part in ensuring our consulting services continue to differentiate Xero from the competition, supporting our Canadian Enterprise Partners to activate and adopt the Xero Platform and enable them to deliver at scale.



What you’ll do

  • Form effective relationships with key national contacts of our Enterprise Partners in order to accelerate the migration of client accounts from legacy systems to the Xero platform
  • Develop and deliver National technical training plans with a focus and deep understanding of the ways our Enterprise Partners work.
  • Cultivate relationships with National ‘Xero Champions’ in target Partners, responding in a timely manner to technical queries
  • Drive the data conversion process, working closely with regional Partner Consultants where applicable, our Migration Team and our Partners.
  • Update the CRM system with all client communications including calls, emails and meetings.
  • You’ll maintain a set of KPI’s and report on performance regularly to your peers and manager
  • Present at Xero Workshops, Roadshows and other partner facing conferences.
  • Use your experience and Xero knowledge to challenge and improve the use of Xero and associated tools (partner add-ons, practice software).
  • Work closely with Partner Success Managers and other stakeholders within Xero to advise on and build the most appropriate Xero deployment plans.
  • Be the technical expert on the Xero platform, advising on best practice workflows and SOP’s that continuously improve our Partners business.
  • Identify and communicate risks and obstacles to rapid deployment success internally within Xero such that remedial action can be considered and actioned.



Success looks like

  • Having input to go-to-market solutions for our accounting partners to use with their clients
  • Nurturing relationships with our accounting partners through attending events and hosting customized workshops
  • Earning the trust of our accounting partners and assisting them on converting their clients to Xero to modernize their accounting practice
  • Managing multiple ongoing projects related to our accounting partners and internal resources
  • Analyzing and recommending solutions for internal and/or client workflow efficiencies
  • Working closely with your team to support the delivery of our consulting targets
  • Regularly demonstrating Xero’s core values - Human, Challenge, Team, Ownership, and Beautiful
  • Achieving your set targets and KPIs



What you’ll bring with you

  • Presentation and/or training delivery experience
  • Experience contributing to and deploying strategies to lessen the impact of change on an individual
  • Experience in a client facing role
  • Solution orientation: Capacity to learn, adapt and apply ideas in constantly morphing situations
  • Productivity: Results driven with strong initiative and ability to work independently
  • Collaboration & teamwork: Ability to work cohesively with the partner sales team using Xero’s four pronged approach
  • Industry Expertise: Enthusiasm for the emerging cloud accounting market and its potential
  • Accounting software and workflow knowledge
  • Experience selling or leading implementations for Xero or similar platforms will be highly regarded
  • Presentation skills: Outstanding communication, planning and presentation skills
  • CPA certification a bonus
  • Strong knowledge of the workings of an accounting practice and systems
  • Experience in a large national accounting firm or in accounting technology consulting preferred
  • Building relationships: A natural tendency towards building mutually beneficial partnerships and ability to create quick, strong rapport with accountants and other stakeholders
