Order Desk/Customer Service Representative

We are currently recruiting for an Order Desk Specialist for our Cambridge, Ontario facility. This position must have flexibility to work both days and a rotating afternoon shift, when required.
The Successful Applicant Will Be Responsible For

• Liaising with customers, vendors, engineering, outside sales, production and quality team members
• Communicate through phone, email and face to face in a professional manner
• Support shipping/receiving with the Kaller/Hyson product line
• Quoting and processing orders of components to customers with Kaller & Hyson products being a priority.
• Charge and repair nitrogen cylinders.
• Answering all call inquiries for assigned product lines and become internal SME
• Handle customer inquiries and relay concerns to the appropriate department
• Preparing material takeoffs and shop process instructions on work orders using Micro Estimating and Profit Key
• Follow up on customer orders
• Gather/verify pieces count/package/skid material for shipping
• Other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications Include

• Knowledge of Hyson/Keller components would be considered an asset
• Working knowledge of Profit Key (or other ERP) software an asset
• Working knowledge of Micro Estimating (or other estimating software) an asset
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills (verbal & written)
• O.S.S.D with a minimum 2 to 5 years' experience in a similar position
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Previous customer service experience with excellent organizational skills
• Previous shipping/receiving experience and working in a manufacturing environment considered an asset
• Must be a team player who is willing to take initiative and is able to work independently and or with others in a close environment
• Computer competent with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
