Job Description

:

The Customer Service Representative serves as a first line of responsiveness to any emerging issues our customers may face in order to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.


Core Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Maintain the confidentiality of data collected and stored.
  • Accountable for the accuracy of work and maintaining good working relations and ability to maintain self-direction and motivation.
  • Set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain performance expectations by completing all duties as assigned.
  • Plan and execute assignments.
  • Maintain inventory controls by inputting system data, validating variances and identifying supply requirements.
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts.
  • Participate in monthly Safety meetings, obtain certificates for TDG, First Aid and WHMIS through the company.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Process orders, forms, applications, and requests.
  • Employee must demonstrate safe work and risk management practices and communicate all safety and security issues.
  • Dispatching.
  • Manage incoming calls from customers, working to address immediate issues, direct calls to appropriate party.


Requirements:

  • Proven customer service experience or experience as a customer service representative, minimum one year experience is required.
  • Customer focused and ability to respond professionally to all types of internal/external requests.
  • Ability to reliably commute in all weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Strong telephone skills and active listener.
