Summary:


The PayPal HR team is seeking an experienced, highly engaged and dynamic individual to serve as program manager for our enterprise onboarding activities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping HR deliver a best-in-class onboarding experience. Success in this position will require the development of an extensive internal network, both within and beyond the HR function and an ability to work well with and through others to effectively execute. The successful candidate will navigate easily between both strategic and hands-on items on the to-do list, serving not only as a thought partner to the HR leadership but also as the driver of critical business initiatives. The position holds global responsibilities and will require coordination between APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and North American teams.

Responsibilities include:


  • Partnering effectively with cross-functional team (including Global Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, IT, Global Mobility, Compliance, etc.) to cultivate a welcoming, frictionless and globally compliant onboarding program
  • Support various ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed
  • Refreshing and maintaining new hire resources and information
  • Partnering with employment legal and appropriate operational teams to ensure Right to Work compliance
  • Identifying and driving removal of blockers hindering processes and/or employee experience in the onboarding lifecycle
  • Evolution and oversight of end-to-end onboarding lifecycle management
  • In partnership with key stakeholders and informed by industry best practices, managing and owning onboarding roadmap, which directs all priorities and projects under the onboarding workstream
  • Serve as a champion and change agent shaping the onboarding company culture
  • Building metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the overall process (e.g. participant experience, SLAs, etc.). Drive accountability, ownership and impact through metrics, surveys and reporting.


Job Requirements:


  • Demonstrated ability to influence and work effectively and cross-functionally with global teams at all levels (including senior leadership) within a highly matrixed organization.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and execution skills, coupled with an ownership mentality to ensure tasks are seen through to completion.
  • Strong project/program management and process improvement skillset
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills and sound judgment; ability to ‘see the forest for the trees’ - approach problems in a quantitative and qualitative manner
  • Highly skilled at simplifying and operationalizing processes, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Eager to learn new things and apply knowledge to innovate, improve/simplify processes.
  • Thrive in a global, fast-paced, and dynamic work environment. Ability to manage high job complexity and constant multi-tasking with exceptional attention to detail. Well organized, resourceful, able to prioritize well, work efficiently. Shows flexibility as workloads fluctuate.
  • Experience developing strategic or departmental planning materials that require consensus gathering from multiple constituents, coupled with the ability to translate the strategy into effective execution and tangible outcomes
  • 7+ years relevant Human Resources/onboarding experience at a mid- to large-scale global organization
  • A genuine interest and ability to connect with, build and maintain relationships with people at all levels and across organizational and geographic boundaries.
