The position has several layers of responsibility from Functional (run and maintain our King Street office) to Creative (Implement people focused initiatives to encourage our community / culture) so experience from Service Industries / Retail and Hospitality are welcomed but not required, as is prior experience of working within digital / tech companies. What we really value is a self-starter who understands the importance of our office being a welcoming hub for not only the 'day job' but for connecting with and building our Menti community.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Introduction interview
• Break-out areas
• Prior experience of designing / managing communal spaces
• Order and manage office tech
• Understanding of the Toronto F&B vendor landscape.
• Prior Experience within Customer facing roles
• And finally - Use your creativity and passion for people wherever you can within the role. We want you to be the driver of our community space and ensure everybody feels welcome. Our office is a blank canvas waiting for you to make some magic..
• Own our space and what goes into it:
• Able to prioritise and prioritise tasks and responsibilities in a changing environment.
• Source and manage local F&B vendors in line with Menti's needs.
• Diligent, and process-driven, with an eye for detail.
• Experience within Office Management teams
• Order and manage snacks, drinks and misc pantry items
• Manage and continuously evaluate our lunches and other services we provide
• Furnishings
• A creative mind with the ability to create a fun, inclusive and diverse environment
• Experience of dealing with office related problems
• Proactive and takes ownership of responsibilities quickly.
• Prior experience of working within People or Workspace teams
• Order and manage our breakfast and lunch offerings
• Experience from the hospitality or service industry.
• Able to thoughtfully take direction and constructive feedback.
