Planning Research
● Partner with Product, Design and Development to provide input on our product roadmap by understanding and advocating for user needs
● Design and execute user research studies that span the entire product development process, varying in approach, scale, scope and time-frame
● Plan, coordinate and conduct longitudinal studies with users and customers to understand their experience over time
● Contribute to shaping and evolving our formal user and customer research panel
Conducting Research
● Conduct research using a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods
● Conduct 1-on-1 interviews with our users and customers around the world, both in-person, on-site and remote
● Bring design prototypes into the field and provide actionable feedback based on findings
● Coordinate and lead the ongoing user validation via in-person and remote usability testing
Build Research Ops
● Develop and implement processes for efficient and effective UX research operations, including participant recruitment, scheduling, and UX Research tooling.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that UX research studies are well-designed, well-executed, and actionable, with a focus on delivering high-quality insights that drive product improvements.
Technical Competencies:
● 5 to 7 years in user testing, research, or experience design for web, mobile, emerging digital and in-person experiences
● Strong in-person and remote 1-on-1 interviewing skills, including planning, and conducting interviews.
● Extensive experience with a broad set of generative and evaluative research techniques
● Willingness to experiment with new research techniques.
● Experience in conducting research in a B2B environment.
● A deep understanding of the end-to-end iterative product design process
● Experimentation with emerging research and synthesis tools & techniques, including generative AI
