Position Overview
The PDMS organization at Autodesk is tasked with building the world’s best design and manufacturing platform by serving the needs of professionals across the entire product development process, from initial concept ideation through to manufacturing. The Autodesk Fusion 360 team is looking for a Principal User Experience Designer with a passion for crafting elegant, scalable solutions for complex problems, who’s ignited by the opportunity to grow their career with a global team of design professionals.
In this role, you will apply your experience design and research skills to craft design patterns that will create the foundation for the next generation of design and engineering CAD tools. You'll work with a talented team of User Experience Designers and Experience Architects, as well as stakeholders from Product Management, Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Content Development, and Quality Assurance, to create compelling experiences that help our customers solve their most critical design and manufacturing problems.
We’re looking for designers who are excited by the prospect of untangling complex problems and requirements, then rationalizing them into simple, elegant solutions. Your role will involve understanding the needs of both end users and internal product teams, distilling and clarifying those needs, and creating solutions that follow our UX strategy to both delight customers and meet business objectives and deadlines.
Considering candidates in Toronto, Canada to work hybrid/remote.
Are you an existing contractor or consultant with Autodesk? Please search for open jobs and apply internally (not on this external site). If you have any questions or require support, contact Autodesk Careers.
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on discretionary annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock or long-term incentive cash grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
