User Experience Lead Jobs

Our client is looking for a UX Design Lead to join their team. Using your skills in UX Design, you will build world-class experiences. Reporting to the Director of User Experience and Design, you will work alongside teams of PMs and developers to shape products and help them reach their innovative goals within the tech world.

This position is hybrid, three days per week onsite - Yonge and St. Clair TTC station.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure data-driven design decisions based on analytics, user research findings and results from digital optimization experiments
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and Tech Lead to establish the product roadmap
• Conduct thorough reviews of design deliverables
• Foster consistency across our brands and processes
• Oversee the implementation of strategic changes, providing support and managing their impact effectively
• Offer mentorship and guidance to team members with less experience, fostering their professional growth
• Lead workshops, discovery sessions and design reviews
• Create reusable components and lead the exploration of new UXD patterns to ensure design consistency across platforms/screens
• Design and execute various deliverables (such as information architecture, wireframes, user flows, and prototypes)

Requirements:

• Experienced in creating personas and conducting task analysis
• Highly proficient in mobile-first Web App, Mobile App Design, Lean UX, and responsive design principles
• Experience mentoring and coaching junior designers, providing feedback and guidance to help them improve their skills
• Expert knowledge of design tools and software (Figma and others)
• Skilled in developing sitemaps, user flows, and journey maps
• Ability to understand customers from a user-centred design perspective and effectively communicates this to internal stakeholders
• At least 10 years of professional UX design experience.
• Experience leading design projects
