Job Description

Kapisanan is seeking a Researcher to lead Kapisanan’s community-engaged research project which will inform our programming for queer and trans Filipino/a/x/youth 19-24 years of age. Funded by the Philippine Studies Group (PSG) at the York Centre for Asian Research (YCAR), Kapisanan will investigate the quality of our program service delivery through an environmental scan of our service areas using surveys and focus groups.

  • Location: Remote, with some in-person meetings and events in the Greater Toronto Area
  • Compensation: $1500 (50 hours across 12 weeks at $30/hr)
  • Classification: Part-time, Independent Contract
  • Contract Dates: September 18, 2023 to December 15, 2023
