  • Coach and grow research managers to broaden impact, achieve goals, and further contribute to the vision and operations of the research practice
  • Anticipate the changing demands for skills, attracting and retaining the best people for our future success
  • Champion research community and operational platforms that scale to support all of Autodesk
  • Advocate for user-centric and data-driven experiences that cross product workflows and align to business strategy
  • Own strategic relationships with leaders across businesses to understand current and anticipate future business needs facilitated by the application of research, analytics, and experimentation
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience managing managers
  • Experience building and setting research strategy that connects with business strategy
  • A strong analytical skillset and the ability to distill complex ideas, and large amounts of data and viewpoints, to their essence
  • 15+ years of relevant professional experience in UX research with exposure to both quantitative and qualitative techniques
  • An excellent storyteller capable of communicating impact and outcomes to executive audiences
  • Proven track record of translating research into business impact
  • 7+ years directly managing, coaching, and developing full-time researchers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of data models and complex data systems to influence how our lines of business apply user experience data
  • Architecture, Engineering, Construction industry experience
  • Experience with data science and data engineering technologies and practices
  • Experience with SaaS product development
  • Advanced degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience directly conducting primary research (either qualitative or quantitative) end-to-end (i.e., designing, fielding, analyzing and reporting out data)
