In the Multi-Channel Logistics department, Analyst are encouraged to bring ideas forward of what is best in class for the retail, distribution, transportation, and e-commerce areas of business. The Multi-channel Ops Analyst is responsible for the proper flow of goods through the facility, supporting the highest fill rate level, and maximizes the efficient processing of put away and replenishment within the Distribution Center. The Multi-Channel Ops Analyst is also responsible for monitoring, slotting of products, analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities and providing support and feedback on implementation of major projects. This includes labor efficiency/cost impact of various process implementations or changes and capacity constraint identification. This position collaborates with Distribution Center (DC) management, Warehouse Management Systems, Inventory Control, and Supply Chain.
As a Multi-Channel Operations Analyst, you will…

• Gather project requirements by working with other members of the Engineering team and other stakeholders.
• Find optimization opportunities in existing business processes by utilizing Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Work with operations teams to improve efficiencies and perform detailed data analysis on performance metrics across service.
• Be responsible for the DC slotting portfolio including; SKU slotting, bin maintenance, reporting, auditing, slotting analysis, and slotting optimization.
• Work with a range of stakeholders throughout Best Buy Canada to understand and model business processes.
• Communicate with CHQ and Demand Planners for assistance and or requests.

The experience we need…

• Excellent communications skills both in person and over e-mail / Teams
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Logistics or related field
• Advanced proficiency on data analysis tools (MS Excel, PL/SQL)
• Project Management Experience is an asset
• Lean & Six Sigma Green belt preferred
