Operations Analyst Jobs

We are looking for an experienced Operations Analyst to join our growing team. As an Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in coordinating and managing various aspects of production to ensure the efficient functioning of our organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Estimating the necessary material, equipment, and labor for production and developing comprehensive plans accordingly.
• Creating, maintaining, and reviewing Bill of Materials (BOM) and Production Routes, making corrections as needed.
• Collaborating with the Product Development and Sales teams to facilitate the smooth transition of new product designs from prototype to full-scale production.
• Preparing Purchase Orders for Sub-Contracted manufacturing activities and overseeing the production plan to align with business priorities.
• Finalizing kitting requirements for new product innovations, which involve coordinating dies, graphics, packing details, and other essential elements.
• Working with the Master Scheduler to develop a master schedule that aligns with the company's objectives.
• Ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer expectations and ensure timely order deliveries.

What you will be managing:

• Collaborating with Purchasing to ensure adequate materials are ordered and stocked to prevent shortages.
• Implementing and maintaining an inventory stocking program for multiple product SKUs across various customers.
• Overseeing the production schedule for Sub-Contractors, ensuring alignment with the master schedule.
• Monitoring and tracking internal and external due dates for custom production orders, providing early alerts for orders at risk of being delayed.
• Engaging with customers and sales representatives, addressing inquiries related to new product development, pre-production planning, and active production orders.
• Establishing an efficient communication system to keep all stakeholders informed of any changes to the production plan.
• Addressing and resolving production issues promptly to minimize delays.

Required Experience:

• Familiarity with material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.
• Proficiency in generating and interpreting reports for making informed production decisions.
• Possessing strong forecasting and production planning skills.
• Demonstrating the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Having 2-3 years of experience in production management or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word programs.

Compensation: $56,500 - $60,000 + Benefits & Bonus
