About the role:


We’re looking for a curious person with a passion for customers to join the Research Operations team. The Research Operations Analyst will assist in the development, use, and continuous improvement of research tools including the PC Optimum™ Panel and research and insights repository. This role will focus on the day to day maintenance and operations of these tools, but will also contribute to long term planning.


What You’ll Do


  • Work with cross functional teams to support data integration efforts across tools
  • Co-ordinate sourcing of syndicated research resources (ie Mintel)
  • Assist in managing relationships with preferred research and insights vendors
  • Lead communication with panelists and participants including regular “newsletters”
  • Generate insights from ongoing tracking and engagement studies and present findings as needed
  • Coordinate operations of our internal research and insights repository, including reviewing and sharing content, user management, general maintenance and communications
  • Stay up to date on consumer insights/research industry trends
  • Oversee operations of our proprietary customer research panel (~20k members), including panel engagement, general maintenance, and communications
  • Assist with tracking of annual budget and manage entry of contracts into Enterprise procurement platform
  • Assist with panel recruitment efforts and regular panel refresh


What you’ll need:


  • 1-3 years experience in analyst / research function
  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods, tools, and suppliers
  • Strategic thinking
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI is a benefit
  • Proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Project Managements skills
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Consumer Research, or a related field
