Job Description
Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate in the writing and updating of manuals and technical specifications;
  • Document and produce project progress reports for R&D tax credits;
  • Produce the technical drawings required for the manufacturing of biocomposite ventilation units;
  • Control the development stages of the project in terms of budget and deadlines;
  • Participate in the development process of new products;
  • Participate in the development of components and ensure the follow-up of the manufacturing of prototypes;
  • Design and model mechanical parts and assemblies; Conduct research on components and suppliers, taking into account costs;
  • Perform all other tasks compatible with your duties.
  • Design and model mechanical parts and assemblies;
  • Responsible for the drawing, tolerancing and functional dimensioning of components;
  • Ensure the follow-up of drawing updates with suppliers
  • Create follow-up files to optimize the progress of the projects;
  • Participate in problem solving by proposing technical and economically viable solutions;
Education And Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or any other relevant equivalent;
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing and R&D
Specific knowledge
  • Knowledge in 3D modeling SolidWorks or AutoCAD
  • Knowledge in HVAC (an asset)
  • Bilingualism in French and English
