• Experience in an OEM equipment manufacturing environment would be an asset.

Experienced CATIA user in a design environment, able to provide guidance to others on solid modelling, surfacing and more advanced functions

Mechanical Engineering preferably related to Design and applied to Railway or Transportation products with 3 to 4 years of experience.

Conduct self-directed study of current design standards for new designs

Proposes, defines, and implements mechanical solutions to bridge the gap between standard product and customer/project/site specific requirements.

Interfaces with the Application Engineer and Customer Solutions Engineering Manager and reports to the Lead Integration Engineer Customer Solutions

Manages complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.

Experience with structural design of static industrial installations, skid-based machinery, and piping design

Outsources modeling and drafting tasks to the CAD team.

Ensures consistent quality and timely completion of project deliverables and supports customer communication and product training.

Carry out day to day project management

Manage, coordinate and prepare documentation from schematic design to construction documents

Manage BIM (REVIT) models and engineering drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various building types

Strong understanding and experience with schematic design, design development, detailed design calculations and contract administration

Experience using REVIT MEP and AutoCAD software

Experience using load and energy modelling software (IES) is an asset

Proficient background in HVAC fundamentals and knowledge of HVAC systems for Commercial and Institutional buildings

Proven experience in the successful specification, procurement and troubleshooting of gas processing equipment for $10M+ projects.
