Marketing / Business Development Manager

This is a Vancouver based structural engineering firm with a team that prioritizes creativity and simplicity, actively seeking a new Marketing / Business Development Manager. Although Vancouver based, they operate internationally. This position will be working hybrid from their Vancouver office. The ideal candidate would have 5-7 years worth of experience working in a hands on marketing / business development environment, ideally having worked in a similar industry, with client facing experience. This role will be working in a fast paced environment, so they are looking for somebody that can come in and hit the ground running. The ideal candidate would have fantastic communication ability. The role has plenty of growth opportunity for the right person, and will report to the CEO.
This would be working on all aspects of their internal and external marketing / business development. The ideal candidate would also have some experience working in a hands on capacity, working on multiple projects at any one time. Ideally the person should have a willingness to grow within the company as there is a firm career plan in place here.
This is a full-time position that includes a competitive base salary, extended benefits, and paid vacation.

Requirements
Here are some of the items that you'll bring to the table for this role:
[-] Experience working within a marketing and business development based position (ideally around 5+ years)
[-] Experience working within a structural engineering based company or similar.
[-] Considerable experience working in a collaborative marketing team.
[-] Strong communication and professionalism when working with customers.
