The Rocketship Talent Team believes strong HR systems are essential to smooth and effective processes in the organization. The Manager, Systems will be responsible for assessing, creating, and implementing strong systems that impact over 1,300 employees.

• Duties include but are not limited to:

System Maintenance, Integrity, and Review

• Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity
• Consult with broader Talent Team and org on HR system needs
• Analyze and test current HR & Talent processes and systems to determine effectiveness and efficiency
• Analyze HR system performance and engage with key stakeholders to identify system gaps and create improvements in processes

System Creation and Implementation

• Create training tutorials, job aids, and other document and provide end user-training, troubleshooting services, technical directions and training for the Talent Team/Leaders of organization to ensure effective utilization of HR systems
• Ensure consistent use of HR systems across the organization by providing education, training, and reviewing data around usage and accuracy
• Assist with rollout communication related to new systems and initiatives
• Develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HR management (including performance, compensation, pre-boarding, recruiting, workforce planning, people analytics)

Reporting

• Support payroll team with bi-weekly Payroll needs
• Create HR Talent Dashboards for key stakeholders to be able to access Talent data and for the broader network to analyze for use of decision making
• Monitor and improves the efficiency of data collection and reporting procedures
• Own the execution of all HR reporting requests

HCM Transition

• Serve as a supporting resource in the transition of the current HRIS system and operating model to Workday
• In collaboration with Associate Director, determine scope and sequence of priorities when transitioning to Workday
• Support the team with completing testing, documentation for test cases, and follow up with Workday Partner on corrections needed
• Develop communications, trainings, and resources needed to roll-out Workday to Talent team and organization at-large

Qualifications

• Experience with online learning tools, databases, and Google Suite programming
• Highly organized, able to multitask, and consistently meet deadlines
• Experience facilitating professional development training preferred
• Ability to assess current system and implement new systems when needed
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred); at least two years of related experience(required)
• Strong commitment to supporting Rocketship students and community
• Expertise in HCM (Workday preferred)
• Innovative and committed to employee experience and data accuracy
• Excellent writing and communication skills and the ability to build relationships with program leaders, community members, and families

$80,000 - $100,000 a year

Compensation

Commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus excellent health and wellness benefits, 403b retirement plan, flexible spending account (FSA), and generous paid time off.
