Investia is looking for a Project Manager to join its IT Solution Delivery and Digital Experience team. In this role, you will be playing a critical role in managing operational activities and enabling innovation by working with business partners and leading a technical team. We are looking for a dynamic individual with strong communication and organizational skills that is comfortable managing multiple priorities and eager to help us transform our systems and tools for the future.


Responsibilities:


  • Establish resource and cost forecasts including input from experts, including those in change management, when required.
  • Adhere to the standards of the IT Portfolio Management (aPMO) and lead teams to apply the practices encouraged by the Centers of Excellence (CoE) by promoting them to business partners and fellow managers and scrum masters.
  • Carry out all project management activities for assigned mandates, including those contributing to strategic corporate objectives and requiring increased leadership and political acumen.
  • Assist stakeholders in maintaining the focus on high business value priorities, including the management of service agreements with external suppliers.
  • Share global progress reports regularly and transparently (assumptions, deliverables, timelines, costs, quality, risks, issues, major roadblocks, progress and achievement of objectives and benefits) demonstrating business acumen and a sense of urgency, when appropriate.
  • Contribute to the organization of the delivery teams required to achieve set objectives, ensure compliance with security and company policies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify priorities and negotiate deliverables for both operational activities (“run” the business) and strategic initiates (“improve” the business).
  • Communicate directly with business partners and senior executive stakeholders across multiple lines of businesses related to both operational activities and strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to and help teams manage risks, issues and blockages surrounding deliveries, by anticipating and proactively addressing them, and then define the necessary action plans.
  • Adapt delivery to multi-modal delivery contexts (i.e., with agile or Lean-Agile transformation teams, with or without external vendors), distinguishing oneself through adaptability and assertive enthusiasm.
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary technical team to ensure effective planning in place to deliver on critical activities supporting regular business activities and key initiatives aimed at evolving back-office systems.
  • Organize and facilitate planning, follow-up and feedback events that involve multiple levels of management, sectors, sites, suppliers as well as internal and external resources.


Target profile:


  • Strong negotiation and conflict management skills and proven leadership.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years experience as an information technology project manager.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, administration or any other relevant training or work experience deemed equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of French, both oral and written.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of a planning and tracking tool.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, both oral and written. You will be working with unilingual English-speaking partners and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills that are solution oriented and continuous improvement oriented.
